Tyrone Johnson Highlight Reel
Adam Zagoria is reporting that highly sought-after recruit Tyrone Johnson has narrowed his list of schools down to three suitors. Zagoria states:
Tyrone Johnson, the No. 16 point point guard in the Class of 2011, has cut his college list to three schools.
"He cut his list. It's Rutgers , Georgetown and Villanova," said Derrick Bobbitt, Johnson's AAU coach.
Johnson also held offers from Seton Hall, UNLV, Oklahoma State, Temple, Miami, Georgia Tech, Florida State, West Virginia, DePaul and UConn.
Nothing too surprising here, those three were widely thought to be the leaders.
Positive note: Johnson still likes the Hoyas despite being close to former Georgetown assistant David Cox.
Negative note: Rutgers is making a big push for the 6'3'' guard because they hired former Georgetown assistant David Cox.
