Three years ago, because of forces beyond my control, I was stuck on a plane from Houston to New York during Georgetown's Final Four game against Ohio State. Crushed upon learning the game's outcome after landing, I refused to seek out replays, refused to even watch highlights. I have never seen the contest that ended the magical run of the Hoyas, never witnessed Jeff Green's final college game... UNTIL NOW.
Thanks to the NCAA Vault, in an UNPRECEDENTED EVENT that is sure to be EMOTIONALLY WRENCHING for it's sole participant, TONIGHT at 6:07pm eastern, ONLY ON THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON, I will watch that ill-fated game in its entirety. AND LIVE BLOG IT!
On this the day before the Hoyas embark on what we all hope will be a lengthy journey through March, we'll have a live Game Thread set up that you can join and chip in with some of your memories during that fateful Final Four game, and help me move forward by allowing me to come to peace with the past.
