Roscoe Smith Decides On A School

Adam Zagoria is reporting that star recruit Roscoe Smith has decided on a school, but will not reveal the decision just yet.  The schools still in the running are Georgetown, UConn and Duke.  Excerpt of article below, full text found here:

"I already know which school I'm going to be attending next season," the 6-foot-7 Smith said by phone Sunday night from his dorm.

"We are just deciding whether I'm going to sign early or late."

Smith wouldn't disclose which school he has chosen, but he has visited Duke, UConn and Georgetown. He broke down the pros of all three schools.

"When I took an official to Duke, I liked the history of Duke, the great players that came through Duke, Carlos Boozer, Grant Hill and Elton Brand," he said.

"UConn, the same thing, the history. I like Jim Calhoun, the head coach, and his experience of sending people to the NBA and the former players Caron Butler, Ray Allen and Rudy Gaye.

"Georgetown, I like them because of the same thing. Reggie Wingate, Allen Iverson [went to the pros]. I like the head coach [John Thompson III].

"All three of the head coaches, I felt a great connection."

Obviously has the NBA on his mind.  Could be a huge addition to an already solid Class of 2010.  Rivals ranks Smith as the 6th best SF and 31st best player in the class.

Good talk.
