Since this blog is primarily a food blog that happens to dabble in the occasional Georgetown basketball news item or delusion, it seems only logical to call out that Eater, Vox Media's food network, relaunched today on Vox Media's in-house publishing system with a brand new design. SB Nation has combined the recruiting rankings from each of the four major recruiting outlets into a composite ranking of the 2015 recruiting class. Three Georgetown targets and one Georgetown commit are in the top 50. PF Ivan Rabb is 6th, C Skal Labissiere is 7th, and PG P.J. Dozier is 26th. Center Jesse Govan, already committed to the Hoyas is 45th.
Fellow SB Nation blog, Big East Coast Bias takes a look at the Hoyas' 2014-15 schedule to find the most intriguing matchups. They've highlighted the New Year's Eve matchup with Xavier as one to watch.
