Waters de-committed from Georgetown following the Hoyas disappointing season that ultimately led to the firing of John Thompson III. One of new head coach Patrick Ewing’s first moves on the job was to visit with Tremont and his father Ed, who has been the driving force behind the scenes.
For those unaware, Western Kentucky is now coached by Rick Stansbury, who has developed a reputation for recruiting using all means necessary.
Just got this text from high-major coach: “Other than Calipari and K, no one scares me more on recruiting trail than Rick $tansbury."

Rick Stansbury has Mitchell Robinson (ESPN, No. 10) & Josh Anderson (77). Now may land Tremont Waters (32). Bowling Green must be NICE.

And then there’s this:
Contrary to reports, Western Kentucky isn't recruiting Tremont Waters, per sources.

Here is why Tremont Waters should commit to Georgetown (again).
Buckle up, folks.
