Ivan Rabb to Visit Georgetown

kyrecruits.com

Per a source who shall live in glorious anonymity, Class of 2015 center/power forward Ivan Rabb (Oakland, CA) will visit Georgetown on Tuesday.  Rabb is a 5-star prospect and the #1 ranked player in the entire Class of 2015.  That's right, the single best player in the entire Class of 2015.

Rabb, who is playing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League in Hampton, Virginia this weekend, is a dynamic above the rim player who can impact games on both ends of the floor.  The thought of him playing alongside Class of 2014 forwards Isaac Copeland and Paul White and Class of 2015 forwards Marcus Derrickson, Noah Dickerson and center Jessie Govan in what would be D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera's senior season has me uncontrollably giddy to the point that I need to end this post immediately.

Rabb is also being pursued by nearly every major power program in the country, with West Coast schools Cal and Arizona making strong pushes.

Long way to go here, but his taking a visit to Georgetown is a good sign and kudos to the staff for getting him to campus.
