Why watch Michael Phelps take Ryan Lochte to school tonight when you can sit in McDonough Gym and watch Mikael Hopkins play for Team Takeover! Though the 2012 Kenner League has been devoid of any real upside thus far, the competitiveness of the games should kick into a higher gear starting tonight as the playoffs get set to begin.

Schedule and Rosters after The Jump:

From our good friends at GU Hoyas:

The first game on Thursday night starts at 7;30 p.m., featuring Higher Level, the No. 1 seed out of the Hyper Dunk division, facing Beyond Belief, the fourth seed in the Hyper Air division.

The second game pits Premier Athletics (No. 2, Hyper Dunk) against Team Takeover (No. 3, Hyper Air) at approximately 8:50 p.m.

On Friday night, games will also played at 7:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. The first game features Clyde's, the No. 1 seed in Hyper Air, against On Point, the fourth seed in Hyper Dunk.

The Tombs, the third seed in Hyper Dunk, will face DCX, the No. 2 seed in Hyper Air, in the nightcap. That game will feature several Georgetown players, as DCX is led by rising sophomores Jabril Trawick (Philadelphia, Pa./Abington Friends) and Greg Whittington (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills). The Tombs is led by rising sophomore Otto Porter (Sikeston, Mo./Scott County Central) and rising junior John Caprio (North Caldwell, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) along with three incoming Georgetown freshmen - Brandon Bolden (Sumter, S.C./QEA), Bradley Hayes (Jacksonville, Fla./Sandalwood) and D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera (Mouth of Wilson, Va./Oak Hill Academy).

Semifinal games will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4 starting at 1 p.m. The winner of the Premier Athletics-Team Takeover game will play the winner of the Clyde's-On Point game at 1 p.m. The second game will feature the winners of the games between Higher Level vs. Beyond Belief and The Tombs-DCX.

The championship game will be played on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 3 p.m.
