In a move that is so Big East, the Conference has decided to release the 2012-13 league opponents and game sites on a day that features the Supreme Court's decision on ObamaCare, the powerhouse Euro 2012 battle between Italy and Germany, and tonight's 2012 NBA Draft.
Per today's league opponents and game sites reveal, the Hoyas will get the following opponents at the Verizon Center:
DePaul, Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall, Syracuse
The Hoyas will hit the road to play the following Big East teams next season:
Cincinnati, Connecticut, Marquette, Notre Dame, Rutgers, St. John's, USF, Syracuse, Villanova
That's not a typo:
Syracuse. Twice.

Though specific dates, times and network coverage have yet to be released, Georgetown's opponents next season are all but complete. With the above Big East slate and a non-conference lineup featuring games against Florida on a boat ship, a home game against Tennessee in the Big East-SEC Challenge, a game against Texas in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden, and potential games against Indiana, UCLA and/or Georgia in The Legends Classic in Brooklyn, next season's schedule is loaded with excitement and intrigue.
