Hoyas fans, it appears our long wait is soon to be over. According to expert ESPN recruiting guru Dave Telep, 5-star forward Devonta Pollard will finally announce his college destination on Friday. Pollard, a 6'7" lefty small forward from Mississippi, will choose among Georgetown, Texas, Missouri and Alabama.
Devonta Pollard will decide 6pm ET Friday at his HS. Georgetown, Texas, Missouri and Alabama.

Pollard enjoyed his visit to Georgetown last month and after Missouri filled its remaining scholarships with transfers Alex Oriakhi and Jordan Clarkson, it was widely expected that Pollard was down to Georgetown or Alabama. However, after former assistant coach Robert Kirby bolted Georgetown for LSU, not many close to the program have had high hopes for his commitment and he seems a likely Alabama lean. Then again, what the hell do we know.
After inking 6'11" center Bradley Hayes, Georgetown has one remaining scholarship in the Class of 2012.
