That's just awesome. No one more deserving than Roy

Has busted his butt working on his game every single offseason and is a major reason why Indiana is a Top 3-4 team in the Eastern Conference.

So cool

Roy is the best.

That just greatly enhanced my evening

One of my favorite games/plays ever.

I cannot say enough about Roy – he just seems to be such a GOOD guy. He’s an amazing representative for the Georgetown program – he works so hard and he says all the right things.

Boner

That moment was one of the best 30 seconds of my life.

You deserve a Roy Hibbert elbow to the face.

Life is complete now

Now gtown just has to win the championship in my lifetime… I missed the 84 one by 3 years

A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the Pitt and Cuse fans that need the advice.

I think thats right

Monroe has clearly better numbers, but the pistons suck, so i think roy beat him out because the pacers are decent.

How long's it been? Two years

It may seem like forever ago, but Iverson was voted in as a starter for the East in 2010. Last year’s was the first NBA all-star game in over 25 years without a Hoya on a roster.

That just blew my mind

Seems like it’s been much longer since AI was relevant

but remember

he still never had anything on the NBA powerhouse that is Jonny Flynn. Being competed for by the Knicks and Lakers, don’t you know? Hahaha, look at AI, he lost all his money! You can’t spell ass without HoyAS, I was strung out on meth before you were born, kid, and could STILL tan your hide. Your mom’s a Hoya, I’m both hilarious AND original!

Whoa, sorry gang, been a rough week of wading through the orange trollage. But this is wonderful news for a really great guy and a stunning walking advertisement for the program (in terms of the development he achieved and the character he maintained).

Hope we get to hear Will Ferrell introducing you big fella (and sorry if that means you’re only the second funniest guy on the court).

As well as the UConn 3, your abuse of Aaron Gray in the Garden will live long in the memory.

Continuing the tradition.

Big Roy – I can almost look at a Pacer uniform and not see Reggie Miller!

Avoiding blog til Sunday

but had to come back to comment on this. Awesome stuff.

Should Varejao have made it? Probably. But what do you expect when you play professional sports in Cleveland.
