Casual Gamewatch: Georgetown @ That Which Shall Not Be Named (2/8/12)
Rules of gravity do not apply to me
This is the night to stand with, then lean on, your fellow Casualties, to pool the cynicism and the delusion, and to imbibe large quantities of delicious beer at the Iron Horse (hopefully leading to karaoke versions of HoyaJoker's magnificent opus).
So fight through the snow, do not go near Clyde’s, and join your brothers and sisters in blue and gray as we seek to vanquish the orange menace one last time on the frozen tundra up north.
Drink specials after The Jump!
Where: Iron Horse Taproom, 507 7th St NW (Upstairs)
When: Casual representatives will be present from about 6:15pm onward – tip-off is at 7pm
Why: You will need the liquid sustenance to get you through tonight. To aid in that, we have a range of delightful beer, rail and wine specials arranged for us. Without further ado...
$3 Coors Light
$3 Bud Light
$4 Coney Island Lager
$4 Smooth Hoperator Doppelbock
$4 Sam Adams Alpine Spring
$5 Rail Drinks
$5 Glasses of wine
See one of us for wristbands and access to these affordable treats. And PREPARE FOR WAR.
Stay Casual, my friends.

I'd prefer she avoid being near prison folk

You must be really upset she's going to Syracuse then.

haha I'm just jealous
Though I did tell her not to provoke anyone since Cuse fans are rash.

or follow the suggestion of the Joker
and partake of Coleman’s. Apparently it’s at 100 South Lowell Avenue. I know nothing of Syracuse geography, so cannot tell you how easy it is to get from there to the Doom Dome.
Hammer of the Cuse
I say this truthfully and with no ill will towards the school or the team up there....
Syracuse is potentially the biggest shithole I have ever been in my life. It’s run down, weather sucks, buildings are old and decrepit, it’s far from away from anything cool, people are depressing, etc. Just straight up awful. Honestly, Jimmy B has to go down as the greatest recruiter of all time to get people to go to school there, however it is that he does it.
The two most fun things to to do there…pack and leave. That’s about it.
"Before the answer was a 3, I was down in Georgetown with a Hoya chick, lawyer chick....."

Doing some casual research on this Canadian town
and found this gem: "By 1793, the Westside of the future city was described as “dark, gloomy, and almost impenetrable swamp that was a favorite resort for wolves, bears, wildcats, mud-turtles, and swamp rattlesnakes.” (Thanks, Wikipedia)

NYC Game Watch
Being the most important city in, like, the Universe, where are all the NYC Hoya folk watching the game?
Asking for a friend.
seems that Tribeca Tap House and SideBar are the main options these days
checking out TTH for the first time tonight
I will look on your treasures, gypsy. Is this understood?

So what do I do here?
Just show up? Or is there some preparation I should be undertaking? I’ve never been to a Casual gamewatch before, so I’m unsure how casual it will be.

Prepare your liver.
Otherwise come and look for the clusters of grey.
I anticipate being rather obvious tonight.
Why so Syracuse?
