Maryland to Stop Scheduling Georgetown in ALL Sports Until Men's Basketball Series Happens

A Maryland-Georgetown series would be good for the DC area but this move will just hurt its chances of happening. Anyone that knows Georgetown knows that the folks in McDonough won't be pressured by a media battle. The riff between the two schools goes back a very long time and will take more than one lunch meeting to fix. In the short term, Maryland finally conceded they need us more than we need them. I imagine a John Feinstein article will follow shortly.
