As we first learned back on October 9th, Georgetown will commence a new series next season against one of the traditional powerhouses in college basketball, the Kansas Jayhawks.

Kansas announces a home-and-home series with Georgetown through 2016-17. Huge series for Big East/Hoyas and another solid one for CBB.

The series between the two storied programs will commence next season at the legendary Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas, head to the Verizon Center in 2014, Allen in 2015, and conclude at Verizon in 2016.

The Hoyas and Jayhawks last met in last season's Maui Invitational, where the then 14th ranked Kansas squad narrowly defeated the unranked Hoyas 67-63.
