View from the Student Section - A Perspective from Campus:

Well boys and girls, this is a BIG one. 5 AM wake up call for this roadtrip. Let's not repeat our last performance when I was in MSG for a St. John's game in which we lost my freshman year in the BE Tourney. Let me be frank. This is not a good St. John's team. This team does not hold a candle to the one Lav had last year. Also, Lav isn't there... (best wishes for a speedy recovery though). The only thing that worries me is Moe Harkless (and to a lesser extent God's Gift). Both are forwards of a Kevin Jones offensive type, although neither rebounds the ball as well as Mr. Jones. That being said, the guard play of St. John's has been no bueno. This might be a game for Jason Clark and Markel Starks to find their rhythm once more. Please do not let depressed me be on TV for a second game straight (ESPN is a bunch of HDCs). Hoya Saxa.

View from the Court Side Seats - A Perspective from OldHoya:

A strong St. John's is a good thing for Georgetown. The best years of the Big East were dominated by Georgetown and St. John's, with Syracuse desperately trying to find a dance partner. That being said, to hell with the Redmen for the weekend, this is a must win game for Georgetown. OldHoya has had great times in MSG, and hopes that the Hoyas will too today.

View from the Enemy- A Perspective from our Sleeping With The Enemy Interview:

I think the Hoyas' height will be difficult on the Red Storm, and if G'Town doesn't turn the ball over, they have the game by 6-7.

JahidiLikesPie Nervous Level:

OH CRAP

I am not quite sure what to say. I think we are still in a man defense and I think Kilpatrick just went by Whittington again. This team should not have lost that game. The loss caused me to enforce a ban all sites associated with GU Hoops.

Sunday's game has become this years version of what seems like an annual event for our Hoyas. Come one, come all to watch this year's version of the 'Stem The Bleeding' game. SJU can be frighteningly good or frighteningly bad and GU lets their hot hand go the entire 2nd half without drawing up plays to put him in a position to score. So frustrating!!! I can't say that I am really nervous about the game, but I am disgustingly nervous about the prospects of us losing the game (OH CRAP!). My last GU/SJU MSG experience was spent with JGD and BoatsnHoes watching a nice fat LOSS with the SJU students.

This will be my 2nd time @ MSG this week. I went to my first Rangers game on Tuesday and I abstained from beer and it was one of the most frustratingly depressing experiences of my life. Let me just say that no such behavior will be tolerated on Sunday. I plan on being at Stout early AND late and I plan on drinking like a goddamn VIKING. Hey, what better way to celebrate our most famous civil rights leader than by nursing a viking-like hangover?!?!

View from the Sportsbook (via DonBest) - A Perspective from Vegas:

The Line: Georgetown -5.5

This is the first ever view from Vegas perspective that's coming straight at you from Las Vegas. Really looking forward to watching this game at fucking 9am after a night at Marquee and a million cigarettes.

The pick is Georgetown -5.5. Final score Hoyas 72 Johnnies 59.

Casual Hoya is 8-8 ATS this season.
Last season: 18-14 ATS.
Overall: 48-30 ATS.

Hollis is one shy of the game lead

What are these assertions!?

I think we have a new cahill

Why call the foul when one team is up 20 and there are 46 seconds left

Excellent Hoya Saxa cheer

Stronger fan presence than any of our last 3 home games, sounding great!

Rounding up

because every week with this team feels like a month? Possibly a disposition to glass-half-empty the student section? Or maybe just poor counting skills…

Wow amazing Hoya ... Saxa cheer from the faithful at the end

What an enjoyable way to end a trip to MSG! The hoya faithful were load and strong to ring in a victory this afternoon.

It was great to see the hoyas in NYC. My bro and I bought some late tix that were close enough to hit a 3 from the corner. We were load and proud to cheer on our boys in blue n gray. Awesome post game at Stout.
Go giants for a perfect Sunday in the making

... straight for a -touchdown- rebound

Some nice lines in the box

Hollis: 20, 4 boards, 4 steals
Clark: 15, 8 boards, 8 assists
Porter: 13, 10 boards, 4 steals
Whit: 8, 8 boards

What are these assertions!?

6 of Whit’s rebounds were offensive. Casual.

wait...

“nail more bunnies than a viagraless Hef”? So if Hef’s not on Viagra, he’s not nailing many bunnies? Is that your point? But he’s still Hef, so he’s nailing more bunnies than, say, you or me, right?

Yeah, the not-quite double negative there made this too difficult

But I couldn’t really come up with a penthouse letters-worthy joke about finishing at the rim.

Never thought Id ever put the words Jason Clark and eight assists together but..

Clark with 8 assists? Whaaaaaaaaah? We’re back in the winners circle fellas!

Great scene at corner of 8th ave and 33rd

Hoya bus heading west on 33rd street heading home. Bus suddenly pulls over and jtiii and half the team get out because someone spotted Jesse sapp walking down the street.

NYC reunion ensues.

Today made sweeter

By the ladies’ domination of Cuse. Team shot 12-24 from three. OOF
