One of the annual harbingers of the hoops season just arrived in my inbox, as Georgetown University has officially slated its open practice for Hoya Hoop Club members on Saturday, October 22nd.

Open Practice takes place during Homecoming Weekend. The Athletic Department has a host of events going on throughout the weekend and you are invited to join. A full event schedule and details can be found at homecoming.georgetown.edu. Alfred Bozzo (B'85), President of the Hoya Hoop Club, will be presented with the J. Gregory Carroll award on Friday evening at the 25th Athletic Recognition Event. This award recognizes his unwavering dedication to the Hoop Club and support of Georgetown Athletics.
