Big East threatened by the TV ambitions on which it was built (Washington Post)

Roughly 9 days after news broke that Syracuse & Pitt were abandoning Big East, the Washington Post FINALLY has a "what becomes of the Big East" article and focuses on impact to Georgetown as a b-ball only school. Up until this article, all coverage I had seen on website was from ACC angle, and almost seemed to purposefully avoid discussing the fact that another team in the area was impacted by the realignment. Written by former Hoya beat writer Liz Clarke, the article to its credit does offer up some fresh quotes from current AD Lee Reed and former AD Joe Lang, although of course nothing all that earth-shaking. Better late than never, I suppose...
