One official in the Big East who requested anonymity said that was not an accurate assessment of the sentiment in the room. The official said league schools are committed to recruiting more schools but did not make any pledge to remaining in the league until it's clear what the league will look like.

Does the BE have the determined poker face?

are they willing to have the fans and public continue with more speculation, and assume everything will be fine?

To be continued…

Did you see Marinatto on Sportscenter this morning?

The guy looked like he just got out of the ring with Tyson.

Tyson, incidentally, was funnier than expected on the epic Charlie Sheen roast the other night.

Casually.

This name of this blog needs to be changed

After the apoplectic coverage of the doomed Kyle Anderson recruitment and the Falling Skies tone of this Big East stuff, there’s nothing remotely casual about the atmosphere around these parts.

Rhetorical Question: How is it that the Washington Post...

Has not had an article focusing on the Georgetown perspective of the realignment entering the 5th day since the word of ’Cuse and Pitt leaving the Big East first broke?

While I realize there’s not much in the way of comments from JTIII or the Athletic Dep’t (outside of the brief statements released earlier this week), at least the Washington Examiner has found a way to have a couple of articles about the events with analysis of the impact on Georgetown.

Mr Jason Reid

forgot to even mention Georgetown in this amazing piece.

The Big East is the premier basketball conference. Reigning national champion Connecticut and Villanova would still lead a formidable group. The ACC’s new lineup may make it at least as talented. Duke, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Syracuse — enough said.

After that last, unholy row,
I never, ever play, basketball now.
It joins a list of things I'll miss like fencing foils and lovely girls I'll never kiss.

Is there any chance...

that when all the dust settles we’ll find out that the ACC also poached Jim Burr and Tim Higgins?

Don't they already officiate

in multiple conferences. I’m not going to lie, no one’s thought of this potential bonus, and it just brought a slow smile to my face.
