Not In Our House: Jabril Trawick and The Tombs Send Nolan Smith Packing as The Kenner League Playoffs Roll On
After a disheartening injury to Moses Ayegba on Thursday night, Kenner League bounced back last night with probably the best Kenner League game I've ever seen. No true centers, but a ton of talent and patient, effective offense, near brawls and a shocking amount of heart for the summer league. Mikael Hopkins was the hero, putting back his own miss with just a few ticks left on the clock to give The Tombs the win which sent off the loudest cheer I can remember and a standing O to boot. Full playoff recap comes Monday, but today's action features games at 2:00pm and 3:20pm with Tombs in the latter and Clyde's v. DCX in the first.
Also, in case you weren't aware, Duke sucks. Nolan Smith was playing hard and fouling like a maniac, and after Jabril Trawick stood up to him in a tense confrontation, Smith picked up two quick technical fouls and took his jersey off on the way to the bench. Jabril is rapidly emerging as a fan favorite, and should push for big minutes this season.

Now that's some documentation.
Love Otto flying from off screen to jump the passing lane. Crucial moment as well.

The only thing good about this..
Is it happened before the season … Hopefully he doesn’t play this year and just practices with the team when he’s ready… He will be a better player as a result the extra year will help him. That now puts 7 of our 13 scholly’s tied up with this years freshman class however.. but this could end up being a special bunch if they stay together (no transfers please!!))
Ugh
Guess I better start loving the sims
