Robert Kirby is showing us what a real recruiter/assistant coach does with a national brand like Georgetown. Already this year we have beat out juggernauts like Kansas twice (Hopkins, and Porter), and Duke (Tyler Adams) for recruits. Not only is the guy fearless in going head to head with anybody for a recruit, but he has proven he can get them from any region, wether it's the south, midwest, or in our own back yard. Simply stated this guy is relentless and is a closer. This is the kind of guy we needed, kudos to 3 for recognizing this, and getting the university to pony up the money to make the hire. In college bball you not only need good players, but you need players that fit your system. With our latest group of recruits it seems the staff is well aware of this, is getting those type of guys, and Kirby's role in this cannot be understated.
