The perp was wearing an orange Syracuse basketball jersey, cops say. Also of note: the Syracuse men’s basketball team defeated Georgetown earlier in the day in a game played in D.C.

The suspect is described as white male in late 20’s, 5’8” with an average build. He was wearing an orange Syracuse University basketball jersey.
