Speaking of dogs...demon Jack knows exactly how to handle those unruly mutts from Connecticut.

if this is to be a new regular feature, it is my favorite thing about teh interwebz. And basketball.
It may even make me love that freakish logo. Steady on…

I must give credit as it is due -
The suggestion for that tie-in was courtesy of tookmycrossover2Besiktas
(I’m glad the Exorcist steps are recognizable enough in such a tiny picture, because I was worried I’d have to explain that I don’t generally advocate the practice of tossing puppies down concrete stairs…)
Arrrrgh
Can’t see it on my obviously out-teched Blackberry- sure its a wonderful tuff Jack

Deep breaths (and big gulps, if you're enjoying a lunchtime beverage) - I'm sure it's coming.
The powers-that-be are consistently on top of their sh*t around here.
The bar isn't set too high.
It’s this or real work.

is a wastrel!
that is all. Now, back to sitting in my office and feeling the churn in my gut.
Blip
Given the XL Center's proximity to Farmington
You’ve really got to go with a 50 Cent collaboration in my opinion. Maybe something like “You Don’t Know” unless we’ve used that already?
The guy who resurrected "Jack" after the Hoyas had gone many years without a student mascot is a good friend of mine and fellow ’81 alum. He remains the best bulldog ever. Totally manic and very entertaining. He still (at 51) answers to the nickname "Dog." One of his time out routines was to do as many push ups as the team had points, which in those days, rarely were more than 50 or so points. At a G.U-UCONN game (in ’79 I believe), the UCONN Husky snuck up on him while he was doing his routine and stomped on his back. Genuinely infuriated, he jumped up and slugged the opposing mascot in the gut. An actual fight ensued, with Dog motioning to the other canine to take of his mascot head so he could break his nose. JT II had to break it up. Favorite Hoya memory ever.
