T.J. Warren to Decide Between Georgetown and N.C. State Today
Consensus Top 25 recruit T.J. Warren will announce his college destination today at 4pm. He is choosing between Georgetown and N.C. State. Below is a brief overview of where he stands:
- NC State - TJ's dad is a former Wolfpack player. His two good friends, Rodney Purvis and Tyler Lewis, are both committed to N.C. State. N.C. State has been recruiting him the longest, but they went through a coaching change during the process. Most recruiting gurus believe that N.C. State is the team to beat.
- Georgetown - He stated that he loved his visit to Georgetown, the last school he visited. Was quoted as saying "Gtown opened his eyes!" While in DC, he hung out with John Wall and tweeted that he is going to "shock the world" with his decision.
Warren would be the second Rivals Top 25 recruit to commit to Georgetown in the past three weeks.

Don't love our chances here given that he is a North Carolina kid with family ties to NC State
Then again, why would anyone choose to play basketball at NC State over Georgetown?
Casually.
Perhaps
they have a new coach, and can bring ‘excitement’ rather than a disciplined type of offense…
Perhaps the ACC is a ‘stable’ conference rather than the instability of the BE…
Perhaps his ‘buddies’ are currently on the team, and he just happend to bump into JWall (Raleigh native)…
his decision
lets be honest here. does anybody actually believe that he is going to choose the hoyas?
Got my tickets to the memphis game today
So things already looking up
I have no idea which way TJ will go, but TJ in general is full of goodness.
TJ Hooker = good show and Tijuana = good time, well until the drug cartels turned it into Beruit.
donkey shows
I will look on your treasures, gypsy. Is this understood?

Get ready for
After that last, unholy row,
I never, ever play, basketball now.
It joins a list of things I'll miss like fencing foils and lovely girls I'll never kiss.

Some More reasons for optimism.
1) He also has a lot of family in DC and considers DC a second home.
2) He is a great fit for our offensive style more so than NC states. He would greatly benefit from our style of play and has noted in interviews that he would do well in our offense.
3) He stated in an interview that back when he wasn’t going to decide till Christmas that he wanted to see NC state in action since they have a brand new coaching staff. Then after visiting the Hoyas he’s ready to announce.
4) Georgetown has been recruiting him pretty much as long as anyone.
But...
We all know how many players “fit our offensive style” or overall system better than other teams, yet still seem to pick other schools. That being said, I’m going to remain optimistic either way. The more talented players coming in, the greater the chance that Hollis stays?! Delusional and proud.

In other news
http://www.zagsblog.com/2011/11/02/uconns-boatright-being-held-out/
“UConn freshman guard Ryan Boatright is being held out of competition, including tonight’s preseason exhibition against American International College, while the school and the NCAA investigate his eligibility, the Associated Press reported.”
he’s already academically cleared so this must relate to amateurism. If Uconn gets caught again they have to really get hit right? right?
Also mentions that drummond is out with a broken nose and concussion. How awesome would it be if it turned out the kid who did it was the kid who’s scholarship he took.

tweets its going to be a good day for pack nation. Sigh – back on the cynical train.

Interesting note
On his facebook Page TJ lists that he’s from Washington DC. Not Raleigh NC.
What’s the difference between following recruiting and stalking again?
oh
and he also love Wale.
Positive Vibes!
Shock the World TJ Come to Georgetown!
