Some Thoughts on Henry Sims
Something I've been wanting to do for a while..On the potential he once held and might still possess and his role on this team ..
Henry Sims, The Floor Is Yours
Does anyone think Henry could even get off the bench this year? I'm not sure we have much evidence to believe that can happen. I'm just hoping and still optimistic that he rediscovers what he once had before his time up.
Stay Casual, my friends.

he just doesnt seem mature to me, not that i am by any means.
i think his time to shine has passed. benimon came off the bench over him last year.
Good talk.

Good article
With the notable exception of the Oak Hill write up, the high school rankings seemed to be based on his potential rather than his abilities. Sadly, it seems to be coming true.
Obviously I hate to compare Georgetown players to the crew at Duke but if Sims could turn himself into a Casey Sanders type, I think everyone would be pleased.

i don't think Benimon will be playing much by Jan
He’ll play in early games because JTIII likes to go with experience early on, but I think he gets replaced by January — like how PE Jr started for a while.
go big or go home right
the optimist in me wants to say he’ll be the starter at the 4 and play at least 20 minutes a game.
at the least he’ll be an important reserve playing 10 minutes a game.
I think he gets more PT then benimon and moses. lubick and him get about the same time
oof
i think lubick gets significantly more time than hank. sims was still woefully inconsistent at kenner
Good talk.

exactly it’s reverse of last year where he dominated in kenner league then didn’t do much in season. It makes perfect sense.

I definitely BELIEVE!
After watching Henry for three years and watching his development I have lots of confidence in this young man he will do well this season. Henry has gotten a lot stronger and continues to do so. He’s a junior now, and I think he’s realized this, by his play this summer in the Kenner League. He has the ability to alter and block shots, he’s worked on baby hook shot among other shot and shot selections. His defense has improved. Henry’s communication has gotten better also. As long as he is fed in the post he will provide. If he Julian play at the same time they will be a force together believe me when I say this. College players develop while they’re in college mentally and physically, so never give up on them Casualhoya, keep faith in them and support them, after all they’re only young men in college trying to become adult men. They are maturing right before our eyes. People change and I think Henry has matured and is still maturing as his teammates are also. WE ARE…
