Needed Impact Freshmen

Nate Lubick:

Nate Lubick, Georgetown- The big man from Massachusetts could find himself in the starting lineup from Day 1. Greg Monroe leaves a big void to fill and Lubick is the most logical big man to slide in to the starting role. His development is key as Georgetown does return all other 8 scholarship players from last season's team. Lubick brings rebounding and an ability to finish at the rim, both assets that the Hoyas have been missing.

I'm hoping so

but have my doubts since Hollis will be one of the best players on the team. clark, too.

Small II or Young would be my vote.

If Small I occurs too often, I think we’re in trouble. (we can get away with hollis at the 4 in stretches, but no more than 5-10 minutes a game)

hopefully

clark or hollis accept a “6th man role” like PE Jr did in ’08. we have an incredibly deep bench for the first time in a while, hopefully we use it.

We can do well with Small II as long as Vaughn gets plenty of breaks so he can last the full season, Lubick cleans up the boards, Clark becomes a defensive stalwart.

Good talk.

Melo

the Cuse zone would be very very long in the paint if he is able to execute as a frosh. Luckily, we are shaping up to be a three point shooting team…

Good talk.

I'd like the Young option

I just don’t see how we don’t have Clark playing 30+ min a game because he is our 3rd best player.

Lubick seemed about 6’6" to me but is listed at 6’9" right? Anyone care to offer how tall they think he is?

I really want to see Vee get minutes

Starks, too. Just don’t know where the minutes come from

I can have oodles of charm when I want to.
