Georgetown Leads for 2013 Big Man

Yeah, I know.. not 2011.

Big fella by the name of Kennedy Meeks from Charlotte. 6'8 250lb.

"Man, that’s the best college on my list right now, I’ll tell you man. That’s the only school on my list that really produces big men, and the coaches help you with your school work and all. My mom likes Georgetown, too."

Kennedy Meeks Interview - Cutting Down Nets

Hopefully we hear the same soon from Robertson, Chol, Hopkins, Or-Anyone-Over-6'7.

Stay Casual, my friends.

Was going to come post this too. I’ve been #Scooped!
Great work on the interview Nolan.

Gotta love that quote. Need’s to be sent to every big man in the 2011 and 2012 classes immediately.

thanks

(this is nolan btw)

as far as this year, Trawick said his visit went fine. likes the coaches and staff but the campus wasn’t what he expected. (not sure what he meant by it)

Would help to get him on an official this fall.

I think Robertson remains our best for a big man right now. I would welcome him.

mix and match

which 4 can we get?

hood
chol
hopkins
hubert
jordon o
trawick
robertson

is a class of hood, robertson, trawick and jordan o reasonable?

swapping out jordon o for chol or hokpins above would make this an excellent class, despite all the recent setbacks

Good talk.

if no transfers this year

At this point I’m in the camp that would like to see only 3 be used up.

Hood is the X factor. get him and youre in good shape to salvage a class (and have a pretty good damn one)..miss…and it’s just not going to be all that good.

something like Robertson, Hopkins and Katenda/Trawick would be acceptable IMO, but certainly a disappointment.

forgot about madden and bishop

are sanford and starks enough to replace wright and freeman?

hoping we can get at least one top 100 player.

Good talk.

Why haven’t they demolished that awful Reis building yet?

IT IS KILLING OUR CHANCES WITH RECRUITS.

Awesome

By the time 2013 rolls around I will probably be numb to the loss when he goes elsewhere.

In unrelated news BORN READY charged with assault on his girlfriend. Anyone surprised?

we are also apparently a leading contender in the top ranked recruit for the class of 2029

currently gestating, but should be able to develop into a skilled ball-handler.

Hooked up with Angelina. Someone had to!

Not being lazy...

you’re just still recovering from KRod news of late last week…… at least KRod went after a man, his g/f’s father and beat him up in the Mets family lounge…..

Seems like the only thing the Mets can beat these days!
