Corey Fisher Puts Up 105 Points in a Single Game

After scrolling around ZagsBlog to see what the recent news was with Rak in his recent showcase games and happily seeing he underperformed, I was immediately more intrigued by the headline I had quickly scrolled past about the future face of the Villanova team.

According to reports, Fisher made 23 of 28 3-pointers — missing only five — and scored 72 points in the second half of the 40-minute game in the Watson Classic in the Bronx.

Any chance he is actually a huge threat when for Villanova this year? I mean we know he'll be good, but good enough to beat Freeman and Wright out for spots on the All-Big East team? I think it will be pretty interesting to see whether or not Fisher will take over the team or share the ball with Maalik more.

*Noted:

Some cat named Jose Calderon from Spanish Harlem — not the NBA — was primarily guarding him, but Fisher reportedly faced multiple double- and triple-teams.
