Casual Headband Summer Series: Keeping it Casual in London!

Three weeks ago we introduced you to The Contest that is quickly taking over the world.  Here is this week's entry.

Friday, June 18, 2010:

Those lasses surely had at least one snog that night.

The above Casual documentation was taken at The Grand, located right across from the Clapham Junction rail station in London, England

The picture was taken at about 6:15pm GST last Saturday evening, a little over an hour before kickoff of the epic USA-England showdown in the World Cup.

The bar's website has an interesting note on its dress code:

DRESS CODE: CASUAL ENGLAND (HOME) SHIRTS ARE WELCOME

(Info on the contest after the jump)

Star-divide

As Casualites vacation this summer to whereabouts both near and far, we asked them to bring along a Casual Headband and document their travels.  Bouyed by the promise of a free night of partying at the expense of THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON, the response thus far has been overwhelming.  Every Friday this summer we are revealing an entry, and the massive contest to determine the ultimate winner will be held around Labor Day.

Send all entries to casualhoya@gmail.com.

Eagerly awaiting SirHoya's anecdotes of time spent at The Grand

I have been to Inferno by Clapham Junction – wild place.

Good talk.

if I had any memories of it

then I clearly would not have been having enough fun.

Always a fan of the Church in Kings X, though that may have gone by now. Aussies knowing how to spend a Sunday…

he was being casual at tombs

back in the fall right before the Costa Ric game.

Incidentally Charlie Davies was there too, right before he got wrecked on the GW parkway.

Naah

The crash was the night after the night they were at Tombs. Some other bar is to blame.

that '95 Saudi comeback game they just mentioned

I think I was at. RFK – 3-0 down, US came back to win 4-3. Meaningless friendly, but one of the best games I’ve ever seen.
