Matt Perrault, a talk radio host, is reporting that the Big East's old guard -- Villanova, Georgetown, Providence, etc. -- does not want [expansion]. If Kansas does happen to come east, Perrault is saying the Big East will likely break up -- Catholic schools and football schools.
— Why in the world would Georgetown oppose this? Is the report accurate? Maybe the Seton Hall, Providence types don't want expansion because they can't compete in bigger and bolder Big East? Answer these questions dammit. (via Ballin' is a Habit)
