No Surprise: Jordan Goodman Decommits, Likely Heading to Rutgers

In news that should surprise no one, forward Jordan Goodman, a DC Assault player from the Class of 2012 who verballed to the Hoyas in February, has decided to withdraw his commitment to Georgetown.
Sources indicate he will follow former Hoyas assistant David Cox to Rutgers.
Hard to get upset about this news, since it is obvious Goodman committed to Cox and not Georgetown. The Hoyas now have six open scholarships for the 2012-13 season, four of which can be filled by members of the Class of 2011.

True dat
If you follow a coach like Cox to a school like Rutgers after committing to Georgetown then you obviously don’t have your head on straight.
GOOD RIDDANCE TO BOTH.
Casually.
heads up
Actually most of Rutgers’ academic departments rank well ahead of GU’s according to respected academic surveys, like the NRC rankings, so if his head isn’t on straight now it probably will be once he gets the better education.
yet rutgers is considered a tier 3 school by overall university rankings
outside the top 100
Good talk.

the best part
is that their high school team next year will have front court of players 7-4, 7-2 and 6-9. Remember when the hoyas used to get seven footers.
