By the transitive property of beating teams: GEORGETOWN IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPION

Georgetown beat both teams in the 2010 NCAA Tournament National Championship game.  Not only that, after losing to the Hoyas, both Butler and Duke collectively amassed a 44-2 record.  After losing to Georgetown, both teams fighting for the NCAA Tournament Title lost only one game each.  Run through the scenarios in your head...if Georgetown beat Ohio, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan State, Butler (again) and Duke (again)... we would be... STOP THINKING ABOUT IT.

Pour yourself a tall drink in a short glass.  Smile, laugh, cry.  Only half a year until Midnight Madness.

How much credit goes to Georgetown?

Butler only lost one game since the Hoyas beat them, and Duke got so manhandled inside by G-town’s bigs that Zoubek’s been playing by a man possessed ever since.
