Torn

between not wanting the Big East to look like a sham and wanting everyone to lose. Not just big east teams to lose but everyone.

by iheartgregmonroe on Mar 19, 2010 12:35 PM EDT up reply actions

I love how Morgan State is attacking relentlessy

but I just don’t see this one happening. They’re just not hitting the shots that these low seeded teams need to hit to win these games. WVU isn’t going to stay cold forever.

That's bad for the entire conference

and you know it.

Must be cool tweeting with Jonny Flynn though, eh Daddio?

by Ceebs on Mar 19, 2010 2:11 PM EDT up reply actions

I know, I know

I don’t know what will make me feel better.

Very cool to tweet with Jonny.

It's not you, it's me.

This sucks

It's not you, it's me.

Not really enjoying it at all

Watching these scores just makes me sad.

Why so Syracuse?

we had about 6 hours of thoroughly enjoyable tourney

before the rest of the month got ruined. Just hoping for a 1 or 2 seed to bite it today so that a) the attention switches to them and b) we are no longer the poster child for suckitude this weekend

Totally cheering for Cornell

We always knew they would score an upset…

I can have oodles of charm when I want to.

by aja32 on Mar 19, 2010 1:12 PM EDT reply actions

I never thought that the

“program crippling loss to Cornell” we all predicted would wind up looking attractive to me.

by tjm62 on Mar 19, 2010 2:13 PM EDT up reply actions

at least we'd heard of Cornell

Not from a b’ball perspective, admittedly, but anything is better than Ohiwho.

in case you didn't see this on the right...

Still the same quote, and nothing definite….but good early signs.

I can have oodles of charm when I want to.

This is a waste

Should shut down blog operations for the remainder of the tournament

Refuse to watch

noon till 7:30 yesterday: AWESOME

Rest of the month: miserable

Last year I didn’t even fill out a bracket. This year, I’ve stopped caring on Day 1 (despite being in first place on the Casual Hoya blog I should note). I want every team to lose. President Obama should call the whole thing off.

what's up guys...

still recovering from last night….

I had to stop reading Hoyatalk.. my head was about to explode

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 1:41 PM EDT reply actions

I keep feeling worse

At the end of the game I was ok, then got progressively worse as the night wore on.

Today has been miserable. Just miserable.

It's not you, it's me.

by JGD on Mar 19, 2010 1:50 PM EDT up reply actions

Bad idea today.

I had some good times talking to the folks over there, but losses were just brutal. Sky-is-falling posts followed by better-fan-than-thou posts and back and forth.

Granted…last night the sky preeeeeeeetty much fell.

Why so Syracuse?

stick with casual

only here do we have tabasco – the official eye lubricant of your 2010 hoyas

by SirHoya on Mar 19, 2010 2:05 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah, Hoyatalk is in rare form today..

I never really post there, but I read it daily… “fans” are coming out of the woodwork today..

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 2:29 PM EDT up reply actions

oh god...

I can’t even look.

High fives only on three pointers.

by TheYellofAllYells on Mar 19, 2010 2:11 PM EDT up reply actions

Why is CBS staying with a 30+ point WVU blowout???

Who wants to watch Morgan St. airball long NBA threes?

by pswib on Mar 19, 2010 2:03 PM EDT reply actions

White wash in full effect

Beatdown. Didn’t we beat Temple by 1? On a last second shot?

by itsallthatmatters on Mar 19, 2010 2:20 PM EDT up reply actions

Greg Monroe

with his right hand.

High fives only on three pointers.

by TheYellofAllYells on Mar 19, 2010 2:47 PM EDT up reply actions

Alright I'm going home...

And I’m getting the chinese food I wanted so desperately after the game last night. Come to me, fatty General Tso’s and brown rice covered in duck sauce and my tears.

Why so Syracuse?

by HoyaJoker07 on Mar 19, 2010 2:29 PM EDT reply actions

to make matters worse...

a co-worker who is a SUx fan just came into my office to offer his “condolences”…. Eff my life…

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 2:31 PM EDT reply actions

OH YES

the haters out there are in full force today.

any team who i ever unfavorably compared to our hoyas has something to f*ckin say today. Karma is a bitch.

High fives only on three pointers.

by TheYellofAllYells on Mar 19, 2010 2:48 PM EDT up reply actions

I've been "lucky"

sympathy from Vandy and UF fans… that they lost to offers no sympathy.

by GUGSHoya07 on Mar 19, 2010 2:50 PM EDT up reply actions

Evil Coworker who went to Gtown Law and Cuse Undergrad (and used to have 3rd row Gtown season tix but gave them up for "lack of caring")

breezed into the office today to tell me about his high hopes for ‘Cuse now that he doesn’t care about Gtown and told me he started to root for Ohio at halftime last night (asking why I didn’t do the same)… wtff

by eatthatbox09 on Mar 19, 2010 3:39 PM EDT up reply actions

miserable..

we need both Duke and Cuse to lose tonight or, at the very latest, Sunday…

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 3:57 PM EDT up reply actions

NEW BRACKETS

I think we should start our own competition for worst (but therefore winning) bracket. Like I’m actually completely serious. I think I’d be a strong contender and imagine many of you feel the same.

by eatthatbox09 on Mar 19, 2010 3:40 PM EDT reply actions

Pitt is losing to a team

that has their players’ names below their numbers. Let’s go Oakland.

by Hoya Annoya on Mar 19, 2010 3:44 PM EDT reply actions

I'm going home to Minnesota on Sunday for a few days

and my friends are already chirping “Big East Is Overrated!” crap in anticipation of my visit… fml

by eatthatbox09 on Mar 19, 2010 3:51 PM EDT up reply actions

Whatever

They lost too.

Why so Syracuse?

by HoyaJoker07 on Mar 19, 2010 4:20 PM EDT up reply actions

instead of expanding to 96 teams,

can the NCAA make the 1st round best 2 out of 3?? Pretty please??

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 3:53 PM EDT reply actions

You really want to watch us lose to Ohio twice?

by hoyamarlin on Mar 19, 2010 3:56 PM EDT up reply actions

good point..

I figure the good Hoyas would eventually show up?

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 3:58 PM EDT up reply actions

what the hell happened to Siena??

I look away for 10 minutes and now they’re getting buried.

by Gtowndude on Mar 19, 2010 3:54 PM EDT reply actions

these games suddenly very interesting

siena down 3 with a minute left

wofford leads wisconsin by 1 w 12

Casually.

by CasualHoya on Mar 19, 2010 4:29 PM EDT reply actions

Go Wofford

Down with the Big Ten, and any other upsets I picked that aren’t happening today.
