Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

The Mourning After: Just a Video, Nothing Else

Can't muster together anything else but this post-game interview with Thompson the Third.  In case you were wondering, there is NO WHERE on the internet that does not mention last night's debacle.  Just shut your monitor off and dust off the typewriter and calculator.  Or call in sick.  Or jump off a ledge.

This is going to be a long and miserable day, weekend, week, month, offseason.

some of this loss has to be blamed on diabetes

looking at the stats on hoyaprospectus, the single worst Hoya last night was Austin Freeman, who effectively gave up 7 more points than he produced. If Austin was his normal self, there’s no way that would have happened.

I’m not blaming Austin, this was a act of god type thing. I hope the best for him.

does anyone know

why exactly benimon played more than vaughn? is there something wrong with vaughn? only 10 minutes? he’s clearly better offensively and i felt like benimon looked kind of lost on defense (i realize everyone looked kind of lost on defense).

I think i've heard people describe him as "banged up" recently

probably carrying a lot of small injuries…who knows.

He's been playing light minutes

Since the big east tournament. The real question, at least to me was why JB seemed to get more playing ime than Thompson. Though I’m sure he’ll do better soon, he seems to be an offensive liability and as mentioned above lost on defense. Hollis has a better shot and seems a little more comfortable on the court.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Hollis develop

I’ve been generally impressed with his hustle this year, and he has started to find his rythm offensively

Hollis was very good yesterday.

Defense not his strong suit (he has company there), but he was not the problem yesterday.
