Even if Monroe comes back...

and we have an awesomely talented team of Monroe, Clark, Wright, Freeman, Lubick, Starks, Vaughn, Hollis, Moses, etc….

how are we going to win when we have no poise?

It's not me, It's you

Rebounding was a highlight last night

I don’t think they got more than 1 offensive board in the second half, and we grabbed 14 offensive rebounds to their 17 defensive. +7 overall margin.

Maybe Greg feels this way at heart

But as unfortunate as it may be there are a lot of people’s interests at stake in his decision—its not going to be decided by his gut feeling.

He's not coming back

He said later in the conference he’s going to take time to think about it, and so did III.

It's not you, it's me.

Is one more year of experience with the identical key personnel...

really gonna change the mentality of this team? All the sudden, with seniors on the team, they start playing hard all season? If that’s all it’ll take, then that will make this season go down as one of the most fustrating ever. This was a very disappointing end to the season, but if anyone says they are surprised this could happen (deep, deep down) they’re kidding themselves. They have been up and down all season, this was just an extension of that coming off the hot Big East tourney

they would have a deeper bench

and more experience. It’s not a guarantee they would be good…but neither is it a guarantee they would be the same.

High fives only on three pointers.

Take the money and run

He’s made a mark at Georgetown and it’s time to get paid.

Nothing like making your mark with no tournament wins

And 2 first round exits, 1 in the NIT.

It's not you, it's me.

Very true

But unless he’s got a secret plan for becoming more athletic, all that will happen next year is the scouts pick him apart more.

Take the money, Greg. There will be a whole batch of NBA bloggers to analyze your game next year.

He's gone

Rational thought will quickly overtake the emotion of the moment. Like everyone else, I’d be overjoyed if he decided to stay, but if he’s a lock for the lottery (which he should be) hard to imagine that happening.

All that said, if he just decides he’s not ready to give up his college experience and would be happier playing in college for another year, he’s got two open arms ready to hug him around the knees and not let go!

I was saying the other day...

That it would be great if all georgetown fans could just pool money enough to be worth it for Greg to stay one more year.

Then I realized….my god…I’ve become Calipari.

Why so Syracuse?

Come on, wade

Every middle school classroom has “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” on it.

Oh wait, Kentucky classrooms probably have a second-hand eyechart posted as the alphabet.

Why so Syracuse?

he needs to stay

due to the fact like some nba scouts have said. will he produe a lengthy amount of games, and in my opinon he needs to be more dominant. i think we lost this game was because of our poor defense plus our bench play. which i thought would end up being a part in our downfall. it was a mistake for jermeiah rivers to transfer to indiana cuz he thought he was a good offenesive players but only averaged 6 points on that team. i think macklin would of helped as well

If he does come back, what does his stat line look like?

I don’t think 20 – 12 – 5 is out of range.

Plus, JTIII, for whatever kind of discussion you want to have about his in-game and situational coaching prowess, has proven he can develop players. Everyone gets better. Period.

Except Summer

Summer was a first round pick after his sophomore year….stayed a year and he went in the 2nd and has been riding the NBA bench.

Section 101.

From what I've read about Summers

The issues were with him, not the coaching staff.
