If Hoyas win Big East title
If the Hoyas win the Big East title i will think the committee will pace them as a number 3 seed. why a number 3 seed not good enough to be a number 1 seed but if we didn't have that stretch of games towards the end i would have them in a 2 seed but being a 3 seed in this year's tournament is a good thing and a bad thing because all the big teams could advance to the sweet 16 or we could see a rack of upsets.
give me your take on where you think our Hoyas will be put in according to seeding in the tournament if we end up winning the big east.
Stay Casual, my friends.

3 seed
we’ll speculate if it happens, but taking out the top 2 ranked teams in the Conference (Cuse and WVU) along the way to the BET title and giving us a whopping 8 wins against the rpi top 25 has to be enough for a 3.
Casually.
I think you may be one off?
Nova, Pitt, Cuse, Duke, Butler, Temple, WVU= 7? Am I forgetting someone?
It's not me, It's you

you are correct
but add lville, marquette, and washington and that would be 10 wins against rpi top 50.
Casually.
Could sneak to a #2
with two of the following three: Purdue loss, Ohio State loss, and Tennessee loss tomorrow + a win for us. Tennessee could lose Sunday instead I suppose, but we’ll need the Big Ten teams to lose tomorrow (to inferior opponents) for them to drop.
That said, it’s still a longshot, with a #3 being almost as likely even if we do win tomorrow.

#2 seed deserved!
Especially if we win tonight. I mean, c’mon, winning the toughest conference tourney in the country, and with wins over Pitt, Duke, Nova, in the regular season? Gotta be a #2 seed brothers!

I want to be the highest 3, not the lowest 2
I’d much rather be in Ohio State or Duke’s region as a #3 than in Kansas’ as a #2
It's not you, it's me.
Highest #3 would be in the same bracket as the lowest #2
Regardless, things will move around for bracketing purposes like spreading conference teams, avoiding rematches, and balancing the regions. The S-Curve never stays totally intact.
Good news: Purdue down 26 at halftime to Minnesota. 2 seed: IN PLAY.

I agree, w/o hummel
they are in trouble, and with the terps going down, hard to see that many teams who should be a 3 in front of us.
