View from the Student Section - A Perspective from Campus:

Wow.  What a game yesterday, I had all the old ladies doing underwater aerobics in the swimming pool cheering for the Hoyas (note to self, don't book a Spring Break hotel on hotels.com)  Loving the 2010 Revenge Tour.  Hating the fact I am in the Bahamas for it.  Woe is me.  Hoya Saxa!

View from the Court Side Seats - A Perspective from OldHoya:

HoyaSon1 reports joy throughout Manhattan following yesterday's game and OldHoya assures you that there was joy at Milano and Martin's last night. Seriously, knocking off those scumbags from Cuse and that clown, Rautins?

Tonight should be an excellent start for the weekend though OldHoya is still confused by geography and doesn't grasp how Marquette is part of the Big East. Don't really have to dig into the memory banks for this one but if past is prelude, Gtown is well equipped to handle the Eagles this evening - that game really saw Jeff Green start to come together in the postseason and OldHoya sees this as Monroe's next step to dominating the tournament.

Oh and if anyone's (un)lucky enough to be in Milwaukee during the summer, drop a hundred on #3 in memory of OldHoya.

View from the Sportsbook (via DonBest) - A Perspective from Vegas:

The Line: Georgetown -3. Over/Under 133.

Bet against the Hoyas during Revenge Week 2K10?  Marquette doesn't have a guy taller than 6'6" and if they aren't en fuego from deep they won't be able to keep up with the Hoyas inside.  I expect Julian Vaughn to play a big role tonight.

HOYA.

HOYA.

SAXA.

The pick is Georgetown -3.  Final score Hoyas 74 - Golden Schlongs 66.

On the Season:

Casual Hoya is 20-7 ATS

Julian Vaughn??

Where did that prediction come from? JuJu has been near invisible last two games (other than his “deposit” of vomit in the trash can during the USF game.

Not saying its impossible, but… its kind of out there.

Things trend towards the average...

It is not a bold prediction to expect more from JV tonight, nor is it not bold to say that Freeman will be better from beyond the arc.

And against smaller opponents, we’re more likely to look for JV in the paint.

So…at worst a 5 seed.

Casually.

by CasualHoya on Mar 12, 2010 2:28 PM EST reply actions

Ceiling is a 3 seed

We would be 24-9 with victories over Syracuse (N), Duke, Villanova, @Pitt, @Louisville, West Va (N), Butler (N), Washington (N), Marquette (N).

Can’t really mess with that, especially with #1 SOS and riding a 5 game winning streak.

Wonder if Nikita regrets transferring? Would give him a chance at redemption after these statlines:

2.21: Marquette 78-Gtown 72

I’m hoping for a ND win.

You deserve a Roy Hibbert elbow to the face.

beaut

Splendid stuff. Hope to make the festivities tomorrow.

Only downer was at the end when ESPN ran some gratuitous footage of the ‘85 NCAA final against the coke fiends. Just because Rollie was in the building along with JT2 – we weren’t even playing Nova! Will ESPN EVER show the Hoyas in conjunction with the ’84 game? Or do we just need to win the whole thing again?

Whatever. I love these guys.

WVU

Does anyone know if Huggins has graduated any of his WVU players? I know he had a perfect 0-fer record for Cinci players earning diplomas, just wondering if he’s been able to maintain such levels of excellence in Morgantown.

I ate the blue ones ... they taste like burning.
