Hoyas A Better Tournament Team Than Regular Season Team??

Here's a thought. The Hoyas have won (or played well) in most of their "big games" this season. Where they have let themselves down is in their games against much lesser opponents. We have all driven ourselves crazy trying to dissect why this is the case...........but it has happened too much for it to be an accident.

So here we are at the time of the year where EVERY GAME is a "big game". Can we expect the Hoyas to outperform expectations accordingly? Are we going to actually beat Syracuse tomorrow and go on a run? Can we go deep in the NCAA tournament (Syracuse being an awfully tough test early in the Big East Tournament).

Just a thought. Perhaps delusional. Perhaps not.

With paranoia,

In order to do well in the tourney you have to be consistently good, which is why these Cinderella teams never make it too far. Gtown’s utter lack of consistency (thus far) doesn’t bode well for them to be putting in top shelf performances day in and day out

I'm sort of with paranoia here

Also because in the NCAA we won’t face a Big East team and the offense is tremendously hard to prepare for on two days notice

It's not you, it's me.

Delusional II

Hate to say it but the strength and depth of the Orange big boys (and our relative lack thereof) is a problem. If Vaughn doesn’t learn to play D with his arms straight up in the air, young Henry ain’t coming to the rescue this time. Sucks that we dropped to an 8 seed for the BET (merci Rutgers) as I would have liked our chances much better otherwise.
