Casual Lock of the Day - February 17th, 2010

From THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON's man Varmint out in Vegas (yes, he really lives in Vegas) comes your 5-Star Guaranteed Casual Lock of the Day:

Heaven is a place on Earth.

Lock of the Day after The Jump:

Star-divide

I am 3-3 after Mississippi State nearly made me look like a hero last night.  How did ESPN not even show that last-second 3 attempt by Miss St. that would have earned me the win?  The fix was clearly in.

Utah State -10 vs. Louisiana Tech.

Not a pick I am in love with. This is a pick against Louisiana Tech more than a pick for Utah State. This is one hell of a long trip for La Tech. La Tech beat Utah State by by 22 points about 1.5 months ago. Utah State has won 10 straight and Stew Morrill is still one of the best coaches in the country. Look for La Tech to crap their pants and lose by 15.

Empty your bank accounts and lay heavy.  Utah State -10 is a LOCK!!!

Hey just wondering...

… how many games below .500 would the casual locks have to be to be casually ended?

We're home...

the Casual Lock is 1 game under .500. Utah State 67, Louisiana Tech 61.

And it was actually even closer than that. LA Tech was only down by 2 with 14 seconds left.

Utah State

Varmint needs to stick to the Big West for his picks. stay out of the WACC. Utah State was never up by more than 8 for the entire game

Two four star locks for tonight….

I love Pitt getting 5.5 tonight @ MARQ.

Also, take South Alabama getting the 12.5 @ Western Kentucky tonight.
