Pitt to leave Big East for Big 10
This rumor mongering of mine is really getting out of hand.
According to a source, The University of Pittsburgh will be leaving the Big East for the Big 10.
This is kind of lame because they are a good basketball school (and football school for those that care) and I enjoyed their presence in our ultra dominant NCAA Basketball Conference.
They have had great teams in the past and they are a strong participant in our conference...lame that they would leave.
Apparently they will be replaced...Memphis anyone?
Stay Casual, my friends.

BC?
BC left the big east when ACC was stronger basketball and football conference. Now they are neither. Be good to put Boston back on the BE destination map.
would love
another old school catholic institution in the Big East.

Loyola of Chicago? University of San Francisco?
Hell…. if the Big Ten can have 12 teams…. why can’t the Big East have a Pacific Coast school?

doomsday
Pitt leaves. 7 remaining football schools leave. Cuse, Conn and Rutgers to B10. WVU, USF to ACC. Cincy and Louisville to B12.
Georgetown, Nova, Seton Hall, Marquette, Depaul, St. John’s, Providence join with Xavier and St. Joe’s to form 9 team basketball-only conference.
Good talk.
That is not a bad conference.
Gtown and Nova stay awesome. Marquette is not a bad program, and I have not yet lost faith in St. John’s or Keno Davis at Providence. Raid the A-10 and hell, bring in Memphis. Basketball POWERHOUSE. We will still get more Tourney bids than the ACC with that lineup.
9 team conference means true home/homes
could add on temple, dayton, rhode island
Good talk.

next you'll start a rumor about....
Henry transferring, after reading into the back half of his recent tweet:

you never know what's next!
I’m just doing what I do best…spreading relatively unverifiable rumors for the enjoyment of all casual hoya fans.
don’t worry, tweets are just a little too flaky to use for rumor spreading purposes.
I’ll continue scouring message boards and random blogs for nuggets that contribute to overall time wasting at work on this site.

Rumors
This seems like nothing but an internet rumor at this point. The Big Ten denied it. I think Missouri makes a lot more sense for the Big Ten, and Missouri has basically said they would come if they were offered.
Disclaimer: I’m a University of Michigan student and Georgetown fan, so I’ve been following Big Ten expansion pretty closely

Sorry they were on TV a lot and I was impressionable
Nothing you had to deal with because there weren’t TVs when you were growing up, so I understand your confusion.

I guess that you’ll blame your “performance” on Saturday on all the Budweiser ads that ran during those basketball telecasts, as well……

Change I Can Believe In
Due to the unquestioned success during its debut during my Duke gamewatch experience, Corona has replaced Miller Lite as the official beer of Casual Hoya.
