Eamonn Brennan wrote a piece the other day highlighting the different highs and lows of the first month of the college basketball season. While it was disappointing and surprising that no Hoya was on the revelation list, Gtown managed to get two of the more coveted spots: best game and best moment. Obviously the Missouri game was the game of the year so far, Brennan described it as the most interesting affair of the year and a high quality road win for Georgetown. However, the best part came when Brennan described the top moment, which was Wright's three. He called it "It was as thrilling as buzzer-beaters get -- as thrilling as we’ll see all season." Wow. I continue to believe the more press we get is the best thing for the team right now, as it helps gain more recognition for the intense OOC schedule, Austin's continued dominance which is, in my opinion, neck-and-neck with Kemba Walker's (although he did have a triple double today, even though it was against a winless team), and most important makes it much easier to slide up in the rankings. Let's just hope it doesn't get to the team like it did last year after the BE tournament.
