Success! Chris Wright Now a Bob Cousy Award Nominee
Order has been restored; Chris Wright has been added to the list of Bob Cousy Award Nominees. Unclear if the glaring omission was due to an oversight by the Bob Cousy Award staff or someone in the Georgetown Athletic Department sleeping at the helm - either way, I am happy for Chris as he not only deserves the recognition but is also on the short list to actually win the award based on his play and leadership so far.
Administrative Note: The Casual Bus Trip to protest the Award Ceremony has been cancelled.

Time To Prove He Should Win
Hopefully this will spark a 10+ assist game where he dominates Memphis and controls the court on both ends.

Chris Wright’s sleeve has more talent than 1/2 the PGs on that list. Glad to see this wrong was Wrighted.
Everything about this comment made me happy.
Why so Syracuse?

his twitter response was still great – goin’ back to the gym. when pryor was left off the all-big ten QB lists, he said something like “damn i should quit football.”
chris has turned into a classy leader.
Fielding, Fritz, Bennie, Bump, Bo, Lloyd, and Rich are all excellent names for assorted children and pets.
I totally agree
He’s basically the man.

Sims
First of all this article is awesome. Second of all Sims has been excellent in MOST but not all games this year. Combined with his hilarious tweets and personality and his dunking abilities he is easily a fan and personal favorite.
What’s more important is that it’s become clear JT3 can bring in nearly any player with potential and coach him up and make him so much better to the point where you can barely recognize his game from when he was first recruited. That is awesome. Victory now, Victory forever.

Those Jordans in Austin and Chris' Twitter are so awesome
I want
My handle used to be Jeff Green's Dad, but it was confusing and creepy, namely because I am not his dad. My new handle is JGD. I am trim and in charge.
Were they a Christmas gift from Greg?
Based on Sims’ tweet?

SHUT UP
I’m sure they weren’t. Austin and Chris would never accept a gift that could bring NCAA scrutiny.
by StPetersburgHoya on Dec 23, 2010 12:22 PM EST up reply actions
Would it?
Are you really not allowed to give gifts to friends? I’m not even putting that forward as a loophole, but you have to figure any guy who goes pro has dozens of friends still playing NCAA ball. Are they really not allowed to exchange gifts around the holidays?
Why so Syracuse?
yes
Not a lawyer but my understanding is anything of monetary value that could cause bias for pro career.
Look at pryor and soe buckeyes today- gotta watch out.

Lame
Well, then, I too hope there’s nothing untoward about them and that the boys just got themselves some sweet new shoes.
Note to self: Can coordinate with two other players to take one’s talents to South Beach, but must stop celebrating Christmas.
Why so Syracuse?
Nah they were from Nike

sorry to rain on your parade--
they are the new jordan cool grey 11’s. no chance nike gave them out to players. they are the most anticipated shoes of the last 3 years and i doubt jordan would be willing to give them out… im sure all three waited on line for them or had someone pick them up for them
For every Gerry McNamara, there are three Eric Devendorfs.
