So, bleacherreport put out their "100 Best Rivalries in Sports" list, and had the famed Big East rivalry at 57. This is among individual rivalries between players, coaches, fans, and of course team rivalries. What I found funny was that they considered Syracuse a "top-notch" university, even on the same level as Georgetown. Not too many college basketball rivalries were ahead of them, with only remembering Kentucky-Louisville and Duke-UNC ahead of the two. Obviously, the Yankee-Redsox rivalry trumped all others and was number 1. Do you think the two should have been higher or lower on the list? Any other gtown or big east rivalries that seem deserving of making the list?
