The big man averaged 22 minutes per game last year.  That obviously is going to increase this season regardless of how he improved in the offseason, unless Ayegba and Lubick turn out to be instant revelations (unlikely), or the combination of Benimon and Sims has become very effective (welcome but even more unlikely).  That said, ODU is a great rebounding team, and we're going to need maximum effort up front for 40 minutes tomorrow.  Coming into this season, Vaughn is our best bet in this regard.  I know there's scheme involved, but the main question is: as our only really established power man, does he go over 33 minutes in the opener?  I think that's going to say a lot about what we can expect out of our frontcourt this season.
