Think you meant Green as first player
Monroe doesn’t play for both the Thunder and the Pistons.

Roy HIbbert is a speciman, fyi...
Never, ever, ever thought I would say that. The kid is actually intimidating.

the kid has just kept working to get better
and its finally paying off. If keeps it up he has an outside shot at an All-star berth – espcially if Bogut continues to be just so-so.

Greg
needs to sign up for the Roy Hibbert off season training program. I really hope Roy gets to play on a good team soon.

Although AI putting up a sparkling 15 points in a loss in his Turkey debut will give him a run.

Not really a Jeremiah Rivers update
But his brother got himself in a little Social Media snafu this weekend
About five minutes into the game, word started circulating that top high school basketball prospect Austin Rivers, brother of IU’s Jeremiah Rivers, had tweeted something controversial. It took a few minutes for it to start making the re-tweet rounds, but when it did, it certainly lived up to its billing:
@AustinRivers25 Sometimes I wonder why my older brother went to Ind! Cause tom Creme is a joke! My bro deserves more respect …

Seriously?
Why did J. Rivers transfer from GU? Did he actually think that he was better than C. Wright, and minutes really did play a factor?
The same goes for the Macklin? Was the scheme that difficult or boring to comprehend?
I think Rivers probably knew he WASN'T better than C. Wright.
And just wanted to play more than he would have.
Macklin I have to imagine was the scheme. Didn’t want to make those adjustments. Seems to have done ok in his move.
Why so Syracuse?

The best part of the story
is Austin trying to back track and say his twitter was hacked. But, that post and all the others from that day were sent from his iPhone, which he has not reported as missing. Cover your tracks, son:

Joakim Noah Called Kevin Garnett Mean and Ugly

My handle used to be Jeff Green's Dad, but it was confusing and creepy, namely because I am not his dad. My new handle is JGD. I am trim and in charge.
Speaking of Noah
Still haven’t gotten the hang of NBA2K11 and, as a result, haven’t been able to win against the Bulls in what has to be six tries now. Not as NFL-Blitz-esque as 2K9 was. Apparently I need a clear passing lane…who knew?
Also, as if you had to ask, playing as OKC plus Roy.

Interesting article on Monroe, Summers and young guys in Detroit
And the dichotomy vs. old guard (Rip, Tayshaun, Ben Wallace)

:-(
a shell-shocked Greg Monroe looked like he was trying to escape his decision to turn pro as he hustled quickly out of the locker room with headphones drowning out the world.
Wow that sucks.

Oh Mr. Iverson
I dont speak turkish – but I am pretty sure 2 pts (on 1/6 shooting and zero assists) in a loss still translates as pretty f’n bad
I hope he retires soon.

WATTAD
Stat Line of the night goes to Omar Wattad. 31 mins, 4-17 field goals, 1-11 3 pointers, 1 assist, 4 fouls. I miss him so much not

To his credit he leads them in scoring at 10 pts a game
but in an effort to be the BMOC, he is shooting an astonishing 28% from the field, and even better 18% from 3, plus 3.8 fouls a game.
And I thought this blog was delusional.

How is he even division 1?

JRivers should have been a one and done
His game is tailored to the NBA
Its a shame that the college game has conspired to keep him down. Who the hell are these no-name places (GU & IU) to hold our hero back. damn shame is what it is. At least he and his brother are brave enough to tell it as it is. Keep fighting Rivers boys, the world will wake up some day…
Andy Rautins has AIDS
Getting Wattaded
Wattad must have read the blog because he came back with a vengeance the other night against Louisville
6-10 field goals, 7-8 free throws, 5-8 3 pointers and only 2 turnovers and 2 fouls in 29 minutes…granted Louisville blew Chattanooga out by nearly 40

Big night for Jeff Green
KD sat out the Thunder/Nets game, which went to triple OT. Jeff had 37 pts, 5 reb, 4 ast.
Greg had 15 pts and 8 rebounds in blowout loss to the Heat. (31 min)
Big night for Hoyas
Roy played well (albeit in a defeat)

Roy
Indy Cornrows asks whether Roy can overcome his poor performance over the last three weeks or if the Pacers should trade him.
It’s a pretty reasoned take on the situation and concludes that unless they get an offer they can refuse, Hibbert should be off the market citing his work ethic and comparing him to Rik Smits.
