Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Fool me once, shame on me...

Reports indicate that Memphis will be stripped of its whopping 38 victories from its Final Four season in 2007-08 as a penalty for having Louis Skolnick take Derrick Rose's SAT for him.  One of those victories, naturally, was against the Hoyas, in a marquee matchup of then top 5 undefeated teams.

It would be the second time both Memphis and former coach John Calipari had to vacate Final Four seasons. The Tigers were stripped of their 1985 appearance and Calipari's Massachusetts team lost its 1996 berth.

Go Tigers!

I like playing against Calipari

This marks the second time he has had to vacate a win against the Hoyas, the first was in ’96 when at UMass.

Good talk.
