Great White Nope: Nate Lubick Flees The Coop
NBE Basketball is reporting that Class of 2010 recruit Nate Lubick plans to decommit from Georgetown. Granted the story has not been confirmed, nor has Nate officially commented, but as a Hoya fan, it is time to hit the panic button.
This will mark the second top recruit to withdraw a verbal commitment from Georgetown in 9 months, the first was DaShonte Riley who ended up committing to Syracuse.
Possibly reasons include the dismissal of Assistant Coach Robert Burke, and/or Nate's desire to make Hoya fans cry.
In other news, my computer screen now has a huge fist imprint in the middle of it (but there are really pretty colors all around the mark).
Good talk.
UPDATE: THE STORY BY NBE BASKETBALL IS ERRONEOUS ON ALL ACCOUNTS. OH HAPPY DAY.

This isn't good ...
Burke was JT3’s recruiter – plus provided stability to the JT3 coaching staff. It wouldn’t surprise me if more leave.
I like the Burke left
Something went wrong last year, and something had to happen. And Omar transferring wasn’t the answer…
I don’t know enough but Burke but accounts from people inside the program are that he rubbed quite a few folks the wrong way… and by quite a few folks, I mean the godfather of Georgetown basketball… if ya know what I mean… [elbow nudge].
Cox is the main recruiter, he has the AAU connections (which makes me sick because certain AAU programs are nothing short of the Mob).
Good talk.
