D-Day for DaJuan Update: Summers to Knicks?

According to Espn.com's Chad Ford:

-- And with the Knicks buying the Lakers' pick at 29, I have them taking Florida State's Toney Douglas. GM Donnie Walsh is a big fan of Douglas, who is a great shooter and a terrific defender -- sort of a poor man's Ben Gordon. DaJuan Summers and Derrick Brown are other potential targets for the Knicks there.

The Knicks!

Since 1957, there have been a total of 40 NBA draft picks to come out of Georgetown, with 21 of those picks coming in the top 2 rounds (the NBA went to the current 2 round format in 1989).  If the Knicks do wind up taking Summers at #29, DaJuan will become the 10th Hoya out of the 40 to join the Knicks.

The list: Jim Christie, Ken Davis, Patrick Ewing, Michael Jackson, Dikembe Mutombo, Othella Harrington, Jerome Williams, Mike Sweetney, and Patrick Ewing, Jr.

Here's a clip of Roy Hibbert interviewing consensus #1 pick Blake Griffin.  Nice glasses, Roy.

The Draft begins in 3 hours.

Casually.

And the 6th drafted by the Knicks, none by Isiah however.

Good talk.
