Hip Hip Hooray! - Part Deux
Following in the footsteps of NBAdraft.net, DraftExpress.com has officially removed Greg Monroe from their list of projected picks in the 2009 NBA draft. DaJuan Summers, however, is still listed as a second round draft choice.
Another interesting note: They have 11 Big East players going pro, including 5 that still have collegiate eligibility left. Big East could be a different league next year. More to come about that following the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament.
ESPN still has Monroe as the third best prospect in the country, but they have not updated his ranking since February. They also have Summers listed as the 43rd best prospect, but they have not updated his ranking since March 2007.
Good talk.

So
What odds are you laying on either/both of them coming back?
I ate the blue ones ... they taste like burning.
I think they are both back
I think Greg Monroe should declare for the draft but not sign with an agent. Doing so will allow him to participate in camps and get a feel for what coaches/scouts/GMs are looking for.
Good talk.

Bottom Line
If I’m Greg Monroe, I take the money and go pro.
If I’m DaJuan Summers, I come back.
That being said, I think both will be back.
Casually.
