Bubble Teams
Following in the long and storied tradition of being a sore loser, I have decided to make a list of all the NCAA Tournament bubble teams that I would not like to make the Big Dance. Presented below are the teams in no particular order:
MARYLAND
Good luck to everyone else.
Good talk.

Curry in a Hurry
Come on! Do you really want Davidson to make the Dance and not have the chance to drop 50 on us in the 1st round of the NIT?
Get your head in the game.
Casually.
UMCP and Davidson
1) No need to root against Team Under Armour. They will play themselves out of the NCAAs.
2) CasualHoya, do you really think it is safe to assume that we have earned the right to have Curry drop 50 on us?

Why not?
Seems silly to root against Maryland given how many of the guys on our team and theirs have grown up playing with and against each other. I say go terps.
What I’m rooting against is Lunardi’s prediction (as of yesterday) that 8 Big Ten teams (and only 7 Big East teams) will make the tourney….completely ridiculous.
Always root against Maryland
It is a bitter rivalry built on classless Terp fans spewing incorrect and unintelligent facts about G’town. And Gary Williams has refused to play us unless it is on his terms.
Case in point:

Good article but the comments are the most interesting. 90% of the comments from Terp fans whine about Georgetown and John Thompson other than addressing the issue at hand.
So as the grown up, I have decided to continue the hate by always rooting against Maryland.
Good talk.

I like Gary, always have,
and, coincidentally, so does big JT from the times I’ve heard them on the radio together.
Congrats on your grown up policy. I’m sure the Jesuits are proud.

Grown up or not
I agree with Esh. Most GTown fans do, Jesuits included. Always root against Maryland. It’s not like they’re grown ups either.
Because the Hoyas need some good old fashioned toughness

Nice logic
What did that cost your parents, $160K?

Haha
It didn’t cost my parents a dime for me to hate Maryland. It cost both of us a lot for me to learn that I have the right to hate Maryland. Also that I can be whatever I want when I grow up, even an astronaut if I put my mind to it.
Good talk.

Where did I mention logic?
I never said my reason for hating on MD was because they aren’t grown ups. My reason for hating on MD is because I love Gtown. That may not be a great reason, but who needs reason in being a fan? Isn’t that what being a fan is about?
Because the Hoyas need some good old fashioned toughness

No doubt you can do whatever you want
but pretending to have any sort of rationale for it is insulting to the Jesuits who taught you so well.
Also, I wasn’t replying to you…
I was just owned...
… I now blame this on Esherick.
Good talk.

Finally
something on which we can all agree.

Arizona barely made it, extending their nation-leading streak to 25 years.
As a fan of both Gtown and UA, that makes me happy, at least.
