A Slight Change to Harvard's Fight Song

Congratulations on your win versus Harvard.  We really needed a tuneup prior to our 33-point blowout vs Charlotte, so thank you for the opportunity to stay focused prior to facing better competition in the CAA league race.  The scrimmage you gave us will benefit us during the future battles we face with Towson and UNCW.

Keep your heads up, as you represented GU much better than your football team did in Norfolk earlier this year.  If you try REALLY HARD, you might be able to win your conference tournament and get a 14 seed in the Big Dance.  We are really rooting for you guys!

As I viewed the fight song on the Harvard posts, I felt compelled to make a slight edit, for historical accuracy:

We’ve heard the Navy yell,
We’ve listened to Cornell;
We’ve heard the sons of Harvard tell
How Crimson lines could hold them…
Why does Georgetown always forget
And schedules ODU on a whim
Repeatedly making the Hoyas their bitches
In GU's crappy little gym.

Stay Casual, my friends.
