Stay Hot, 'Cuse! Division II Le Moyne Shocks #25 Syracuse in Men's Hoops
We at Casual Hoya decided that under no circumstances would we ever, ever make fun of Syracuse for losing to a Division 2 school.

Looking forward to Boeheim worming his way around this one as he pleads to the Committee to allow this year's squad into the Dance for an inevitable 1st round loss to an underachieving ACC team.
I know only one man who has ever graced the campus (is there a campus?) at Le Moyne, and his name is Puffy. Puffy is a legend. Today, Puffy is smiling.
Casually.

Screw That
Look where these Cuse lovers picked their beloved Orange in the Big East this year: Searching for Billy Edelin
And nothing brings me more joy that laughing in this joker’s face, he posted the following comment after I predicted Cuse to not live up to expectations this season in June in my Way Too Early Preview of the Big East.
SUDomeFanatic:
Georgetown and Pitt ahead of Syracuse
The Orange are returning Onuaku and Jackson in the frontcourt, quite possibly the best returning 4/5 combo in the league.
“Nothing will make up for the loss of Flynn, Harris, and Devendorf.”
Harris is being replaced by Wes Johnson, who will come as a transfer from Iowa State as one of the league’s top 3 small forwards and a significantly better player than Taylor King who gets praised in the Nova capsule as though he is something special.
Devendorf is being replaced by Andy Rautins, who has proven to be more than capable of putting up Devo type numbers.
Rautins off the bench offense will be replaced by either Mookie Jones or James Southerland or both depending upon who is hot.
The true loss is Flynn. But even here the Orange have Jardine, who played point alongside Flynn his freshmen season after both Devo and AR went down with injuries and newcomer Brandon Triche who in HS as a soph went up against Flynn, the McD’s AA in a match most considered to be even.
The Orange will be competing for a Top 4 spot in the Big East this year.
Odd I can’t find post-game comments by JB anywhere.
Good talk.
Just an Exhibition game.
Looks like Cuse is going to have to go ahead and lose to the University of Maine next month if they really want to take a typical early shot at their NCAA hopes.
Dolphins
You’ve got to give Boeheim credit for scheduling tougher opponents for ’Cuse before Conference play begins.

Lemoyne is legit
I watched the 2nd half, and they had some real players. 2 of them would get clock on the Hilltop.
